You will not be required to pay any type of excess that applies to your policy for the first glass cover claim where glass breakage is the only damage sustained to your vehicle.
If you are claiming on a second or subsequent occasion for glass cover damage during the period of cover, you will need to pay the basic excess and any voluntary excess that applies to your policy.

If you pay the additional premium for this optional benefit, you will be provided with the convenience of a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired or if deemed a total loss. We will either arrange a rental car for you and pay the daily hire rate, or alternatively authorise you to arrange a rental car for up to 14 days, or alternatively, we will authorise you to arrange a rental car.

Frequently Asked Questions
Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance will cover you for accidental loss or damage to your vehicle (including fire and theft), and to other people's vehicles and property following an accident.
With Toyota Genuine Insurance, you know you are in safe hands by choosing a policy developed by the people who know your Toyota best.
Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance only covers you for personal injury to a third party (pedestrians, cyclists and other road users) when your vehicle is involved in an accident. This insurance is compulsory and the way you pay differs per state. CTP does not protect you against damage to your vehicle or any other vehicle or property involved in the accident.
Third Party Car Insurance offers cover for damage caused to someone else's vehicle or property if you're liable for it. This is different to Compulsory Third Party Insurance. However, unlike Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance, third party insurance still doesn't cover damage to or loss of your own vehicle.
Toyota Motor Vehicle Insurance exists to provide cover for your Toyota. This means you don't have to worry about the quality of repairs or parts used. While other insurers may only pay for substandard repairs and non-genuine parts, we guarantee your Toyota will remain a Toyota.
An excess is the amount you may have to pay towards the cost of a claim under your policy. The excess amount may differ depending on your policy and the type of claim. Any applicable excess amounts will be stated on your Policy Schedule or in the Product Disclosure Statement. An excess is payable if you are deemed at fault or there isn't another party that we can claim against.
Toyota Motor Vehicle Insurance is designed for Toyota vehicles, however, you can insure other makes if you wish.
